The knowledge base your team and your AI agents both work from

Neuron keeps your SOPs, policies and how-to knowledge in one place, records who has read what, and turns articles into courses and quizzes. Every workspace is also an MCP server, so the assistants and agents you already use can search it, cite it and draft into it.

One email when Neuron opens. No spam, and we never share your address.

Neuron MCP: your knowledge base inside Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor

Expense reimbursement procedure

Next review in 12 days. Owner reminded automatically.

Why Neuron

Written once. Read, acknowledged and used by people and agents.

A shared drive stores documents. Neuron knows which version is current, who owns it, who has read it, and what your AI is allowed to do with it.

Built for procedures, not loose notes

Every article has a type, an owner, a version and a review date. Templates keep SOPs, policies and how-tos consistent, and legal or compliance wording can be locked so it is always quoted exactly.

MCP-native and agent-ready

Paste one URL into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code and sign in. Your assistant searches the knowledge base, reads whole articles, cites them, and can save new drafts and log missing topics, as the person who connected it.

A person approves every publish

Anything an AI writes lands as a draft, labelled with the app that wrote it. An editor reviews it and publishes it. No tool publishes or deletes.

Neuron MCP

Your company's knowledge, inside the AI you already use

Neuron is MCP-native. Paste your workspace's URL into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code, sign in, and ask "What's our expense reimbursement procedure? Quote it." Your assistant searches the knowledge base, reads the article and answers with a link to it. Agents can go further: write the missing article as a draft and log what the knowledge base doesn't cover.

Included on every plan. An admin decides who may connect an AI app and whether it can read only or also draft.

How Neuron MCP works

10 tools your assistant can call

  • search_kbRead

Keyword search over published articles, filtered by category, tag or type. Returns up to 10 results with title, summary, a matching snippet and a link.

  • get_articleRead

One whole article as Markdown with its fields: type, category, tags, owner, version and review date.

  • create_draftDrafts

Saves a new article as a draft, checked by the same rules as an import and labelled with the app that wrote it. Never published.

  • log_gapDrafts

Records a topic the knowledge base doesn't cover, with the reason and the evidence, in the gap backlog.

Features

From first draft to proof that everyone read it

Write and organise procedures, keep them current, make sure the right people have read them, and train new starters on them.

Articles with structure

A Markdown editor with live preview and templates per article type. Organise by nested category, tag and series, with callouts, numbered steps, media in a lightbox and a glossary.

Version history

Every edit is a new version that never changes. Compare any two versions, restore an old one, and see the change note that each publish requires.

Read acknowledgments

Mark an article as must-read and see who has acknowledged which version. Ask again when the content changes, and export the record as CSV. Team and Business can limit it to the groups it applies to.

Review dates and owners

Give an article a review interval and its owner is reminded before it goes stale. Readers can flag an article as outdated or wrong, and the owner hears about it.

Spaced review

After someone acknowledges an article or finishes a course item, Neuron brings it back at 7, 30 and 90 days so the knowledge sticks.

Courses and quizzes

Build courses from articles and assessments, with completion rules, pass scores and attempt limits, and track progress per learner.

Search that shows the gaps

Keyword search with category, tag and type filters. Searches that find nothing are collected into a gap backlog, so you know what to write next.

Notifications where people work

In the app and by email, with a daily or weekly digest of what changed. Team and Business add Slack, Microsoft Teams and Zoho Cliq.

Comfortable to read

Each reader picks a font size, a typeface (including Atkinson Hyperlegible and OpenDyslexic), light, dark or high-contrast colours, and a reading width.

Your data

One workspace, one database, and a way out

Your procedures are some of the most specific knowledge your company has. Neuron keeps them separate, recorded and portable.

Your own database

Each workspace has its own database and its own address. One customer's content can't be searched, exported or reached over MCP from another workspace.

Plain Markdown, yours to export

Articles are Markdown with a small header of fields. The workspace owner can download everything, articles and media, as a zip at any time.

Every change is recorded

An audit log records who changed what, including drafts written by an AI app on someone's behalf.

Email sign-in, no passwords

People are invited by email and sign in with an emailed code, or with Google or Microsoft if you switch those on.

FAQ

Questions about Neuron

When does Neuron launch?

Neuron is coming soon. Use the form on this page to get an email when it opens.

What is Neuron for?

Neuron is a knowledge base for standard operating procedures, policies and training. Beyond storing articles it records who has acknowledged each version, reminds owners when a review is due, and turns articles into courses and quizzes.

Does Neuron include its own AI chatbot?

No. Neuron doesn't bundle a model at launch. It is MCP-native instead: you connect the assistant your team already uses, such as Claude or ChatGPT, and it works from your knowledge base with the access you give it.

Which plans include Neuron MCP?

Every plan. Searching, reading and drafting over MCP are included from Starter up.

Can an AI publish or change live articles?

No. An AI app can create a draft or update an article that is not published yet, and only for people an admin has allowed. A person reviews every draft in Neuron and publishes it.

Can we get our content out again?

Yes. Articles are stored as Markdown, and the workspace owner can download every article and media file as a zip at any time.

Is our data kept separate from other customers?

Yes. Each workspace has its own database and its own address, so one customer's content can't be read, searched or reached over MCP from another workspace.
