Web analytics that tells you what changed, and why
Pulse counts visits without cookies, keeps no raw IP addresses, and turns your traffic into plain-language findings with evidence and next steps. Read them in the dashboard, in your inbox, or inside your own AI assistant.

Why Pulse
Less staring at charts. More knowing what to do.
Most analytics tools show you what happened and leave the interpretation to you. Pulse does the first pass for you, every day, and shows its working.
Findings, not just charts
Pulse checks your traffic every day against 28 kinds of finding, from traffic drops and rage clicks to search listings that are close to page one. Each one says what happened, shows the numbers behind it, says how sure it is, and suggests what to do next.
MCP-native AI analyst
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code or any MCP client and ask "What changed on my site last week and why?". Your assistant works from the same findings, reports and evidence as the dashboard, scoped to your organization only.
Privacy-first by design
Cookieless by default. No raw IP addresses stored. Visitors aren't recognised across days or across sites unless they accept your consent banner.
Findings
28 kinds of finding, checked for you
Traffic drops and surges, frustrated clicking, buttons nobody clicks, pages that are barely read, funnels that leak, slow pages, new script errors, search listings close to page one, and visitors arriving from AI assistants.
Every finding carries a severity, a confidence level, the evidence and comparison window behind it, and suggested actions. Minimum sample sizes and significance tests keep noise from becoming a to-do item, and each finding is tracked as new, persisting or resolved from one report to the next.
Traffic source dried up
Weakness · highnewsletter.example.com sent 412 sessions in the comparison window and none now.
Next step: Check whether the link was removed or changed.
Clicks that do nothing
Weakness · mediumVisitors click the pricing table header on /pricing expecting it to do something, and nothing happens.
Next step: Link it to the relevant page, or make it look clearly non-interactive.
Close to the top of search results
Opportunity · medium"privacy analytics" averages position 9 with 3,100 impressions: within striking distance.
Next step: Rewrite the title to lead with what searchers want.

Pulse MCP
Your analytics, inside the AI you already use
Pulse is MCP-native. Add one URL to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code, sign in, and ask questions like "What changed on my site last week and why?" or "Give me the five highest-impact fixes for this week." Your assistant reads the same findings, reports and evidence as the dashboard, and turns them into a prioritised action list.
How Pulse MCP worksFeatures
Everything you'd expect, and the parts you wouldn't
Daily, weekly and monthly reports
Stored reports per site plus a portfolio report across every site you run, readable in the dashboard, by email, or as Markdown and JSON for agents.
Heatmaps and element clicks
See which buttons and links get clicked, which ones do nothing, and where visitors click repeatedly out of frustration.
Reading and attention
How far down each page people read, which sections hold attention, and which busy pages barely get read.
Paths, goals and funnels
Where visitors go next from any page, goal completions, and per-step funnel conversion and drop-off.
Search Console, Bing and site search
Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster queries where connected, plus your own site-search terms, including searches that found nothing useful.
Web vitals and script errors
LCP, INP, CLS, FCP and TTFB per page, and new or spiking JavaScript errors with the script and line that threw them.
Sources, campaigns and AI referrals
Referrers, channels and UTM campaigns, including new, surging and lost sources, and visits referred by AI assistants.
Weekly email and alerts
A digest every Monday morning, and alerts when something needs a look, so nobody has to remember to open a dashboard.
Annotations and deploy markers
Mark releases and content changes on the timeline from the dashboard, a deploy script, or your AI assistant, then see the effect of each edit.
Privacy
Privacy-first, in the code, not just the copy
Pulse is built to learn about your website, not to follow your visitors around the web.
Cookieless by default
In the default mode nothing is stored in your visitors' browsers except an opt-out flag for people who choose to opt out.
No raw IP addresses stored
Visitors are counted with a hash built from a salt that changes every day and is then deleted. No raw IP, full user agent or city is stored.
Masked before it is saved
Email addresses and long digit runs are masked in paths, titles and click text. Form field values, typed text and copied text are never read.
A consent banner, only if you want one
Designed to not require a consent banner in most jurisdictions; check with your adviser. If you do use one, Pulse works with Google Consent Mode v2 and honours Global Privacy Control.

FAQ
Questions about Pulse
When does Pulse launch?
Pulse is coming soon. Use the form on this page to get an email when it opens.
Is Pulse a Google Analytics alternative?
Yes. Pulse is a privacy-first alternative to Google Analytics for websites: cookieless by default, no raw IP addresses stored, and built to explain what changed rather than leave you to dig through charts.
Do I need a cookie banner to use Pulse?
Pulse is designed to not require a consent banner in most jurisdictions; check with your adviser. If you already run a banner, Pulse can use it to recognise returning visitors who accept it.
What is a finding?
A finding is something Pulse noticed in your data that is worth acting on, such as a traffic source that dried up or a button visitors click that does nothing. Each finding has a plain-language explanation, the evidence behind it, a severity and confidence level, and suggested next steps.
Which plans include Pulse MCP?
AI assistant access through Pulse MCP is included on Growth and every Business tier. Starter includes a read-only API key and the HTTP reports, but not the MCP server.
How do I install Pulse?
Add one script tag, or follow a recipe for your platform: Next.js, WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, Google Tag Manager and more. An optional first-party proxy keeps ad blockers from hiding your traffic.
